I’ve always been interested in photography. I remember my first camera was a Kodak Polaroid in the early 70’s. I can still smell that ink as it dried. I can’t draw a stick man so I guess the camera is my artistic outlet. I’m learning as I go along.
I’ve spent most of my adult life in the province of British Columbia and currently live on Vancouver Island. The scenery here is incredible and so you’ll see that I spend quite a bit of time outside taking pictures of the local scene in my spare time.
I don’t have any formal photography training, I just take pictures of things that interest me and then share them with my friends and others that may be interested in taking a look at them. It’s fun for me to go out and ‘take the camera for a spin’ and the rest just takes care of itself.
