Aug 2 – 2011

My family is visiting this week.  The nephews are 10 and 11 and when they arrived in town today they stopped by my work to let us know they had arrived safe and sound.  We made arrangements to meet them at their hotel after work and bring them back to our place for a bbq.  I mentioned that I just had to stop at the grocery store for Ice cream, Salad and Yogurt ..   All of a sudden I notice that Mr.10year old’s eyes are HUGELY excited about this event — “ice cream salad??”

And that’s how you become the favorite Aunt without even doing anything!!

I think I may be able to make a new recipe out of that idea.  Stay tuned!
